How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Recruitment Administrator
    Location: Dorchester
    Contract Type: Temporary
    Hours: Up to 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, Monday-Friday)
    Working Pattern: Hybrid- with the ability to attend the Dorchester office 1-2 days per week
    Salary: £13.50 per hour

    About the Role

    We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our team. This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, thrives on attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering excellent service.

    You will play a key role in supporting our team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and an efficient recruitment process.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide administrative and clerical support to the team
    Answering phone calls and calling various stakeholders
    Assist with compliance processes, including right-to-work checks and onboarding documentation
    Input and manage timesheet data accurately and resolve any discrepancies
    Coordinate and request shifts with active workers
    Arrange and manage interview bookings and candidate communications
    Act as a key point of contact for all stakeholders and monitor shared inboxes
    Maintain accurate records and support general data entry tasks
    Help maintain internal systems and databases, ensuring information is up to date and accurate.
    Provide general office support, including document preparation and filingSkills & Experience

    GCSEs (or equivalent)
    Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
    Customer service experience with strong communication skills
    Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Teams and Excel
    Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
