Electrical Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of delivering complex, high-quality electrical projects from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

* Taking ownership of projects from sales handover through to final delivery—ensuring everything runs on time, within scope, and on budget

* Designing control panel and switchgear solutions tailored to customer requirements

* Selecting the right components from suppliers, balancing performance, availability, and cost

* Overseeing the full product lifecycle—from design and build to installation and commissioning

* Collaborating closely with the Production Manager to align project timelines with manufacturing schedules

* Building strong client relationships, leading site meetings, and managing FAT & SAT processes

* Preparing clear and compliant Method Statements and Risk Assessments for site work

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment:

* Professional qualification(s) in Electrical Engineering

* Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings

* Solid knowledge of LV installations (HV experience is a strong advantage)

* Experience in the design, specification, and manufacture of LV switchgear (HV beneficial)

* Experience with ePlan and CAD software (desirable)
