How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Year 4 Teaching Assistant | Blackpool Primary Academy

    Location: Blackpool, Lancashire

    Salary: £14.24 - £15.00 per hour

    Start Date: 1st June 2026

    Contract: Full-time, Term-time

    Are you an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant seeking a stable, long-term role in Blackpool?

    Our inclusive Primary Academy is looking for a proactive and positive Year 4 General TA to join our team. This position begins on 1st June 2026 for the remainder of the summer term. This initial period provides a fantastic opportunity for you to settle into the school and secure the post for the full 2026/2027 academic year (September 2026 - July 2027).

    The Candidate:

    We are looking for a professional who is committed to the development of our pupils. To be successful, you must have:

    Prior School Experience: Essential experience working within a UK classroom setting.

    Curriculum Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum to drive pupil attainment.

    A Positive Outlook: A "can-do" attitude and a passion for inclusive education.

    Commitment: Excellent attendance and a desire for long-term consistency for our learners.
