How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Corby

    Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (with potential to become permanent)

    About the Role

    We are partnering with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Talent Acquisition / Internal Recruiter on a fixed-term basis, with a strong possibility of the role becoming permanent.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent across operational and corporate functions.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple roles

    * Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies

    * Source candidates through a variety of channels including job boards, social media, and direct sourcing

    * Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience

    * Manage agency relationships where required, ensuring cost-effective hiring solutions

    * Support workforce planning and forecasting activities

    * Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

    * Ensure all recruitment activity aligns with company policies and employment legislation

    * Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract talent within the food manufacturing sector

    Skills & Experience Required

    * Proven experience in an internal recruitment or talent acquisition role

    * Experience recruiting within manufacturing, FMCG, or food production environments is highly desirable

    * Ability to manage high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced setting

    * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

    * Experience using ATS and sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter)

    * Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
