We are currently recruiting for a Production / Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Leeds (LS9). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop skills within extrusion and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
Role Overview
You will support both the production (extrusion & reclaim) and warehouse teams, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Support production teams with day-to-day extrusion and recycling operations
* Maintain high BRC hygiene standards through cleaning and upkeep of machinery
* Assist with “clean as you go” practices across the factory
* Carry out warehouse duties including:
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Internal stock movements
* Maintaining warehouse cleanliness (floor scrubber use)
* Empty large bins into external skips
* Assist during machine shutdown cleaning (e.g. breakdown cleaning)
* Operate equipment such as silo blower, resin drier, and core cutter (training provided)
* Support the in-house recycling process
What We’re Looking For
* Understanding of Health & Safety, ISO, BRC, and hygiene standards (preferred)
* PPT / Counterbalance licence (desirable – training can be provided)
* Willingness to learn extrusion processes and develop new skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

* 4 on / 4 off shift pattern:
* 2 days: 7:00am – 7:00pm
* 2 nights: 7:00pm – 7:00am
