How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Year 3 Teacher - Skelmersdale

    Location: Skelmersdale
    Start Date: ASAP
    Contract Type: Temporary - Full Time
    Pay: £140-£240 per day (dependent on experience)
    Spencer Clarke Group are working with a supportive primary school in Skelmersdale who are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.
    This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher to take on a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through an important stage in their learning. The successful candidate will take on full classroom responsibilities and work closely with the wider school team to maintain high standards.

    The Role:

    Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class.
    Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
    Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where required.
    Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
    Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.
    Maintain strong behaviour management and structured routines.

    Requirements:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
    Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
    Strong classroom management and communication skills.
    Ability to deliver engaging and structured lessons.
    A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
