Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing fire protection contractor delivering fire door installation and remedial works across London. The business has a strong pipeline of secured work across social housing and commercial projects, offering long-term stability and progression.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Fire Door Site Supervisor / Manager to oversee multiple projects across the region.
The Role
We are seeking a Fire Door Site Supervisor / Manager to take responsibility for the delivery of fire door installation and renewal works across multiple sites. This is a client-facing, fully off-the-tools role requiring strong organisation, compliance awareness, and the ability to manage teams and programmes effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple fire door projects
* Oversee operatives and subcontractors delivering installation and remedial works
* Ensure all works are completed in line with compliance standards and fire safety regulations
* Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and spot checks of installations
* Ensure accurate data input and reporting through internal systems
* Manage site setup, stock control, deliveries, and site logistics
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain health & safety standards
* Liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Attend pre-start meetings and represent the business professionally on site
* Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Project Manager
* Identify variations and escalate where required
* Support sign-off and close-out of works
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager within fire doors or passive fire protection
* Strong technical knowledge of fire door installation, remedials, and compliance standards
* Experience managing multiple sites and teams
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
* Experience working within social housing or occupied environments
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
Certifications (required/preferred):
* SMSTS or SSSTS
* CSCS Card
* Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
* Knowledge of BM TRADA, FIRAS, or similar standards
* Experience with digital reporting systems
