Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced General Operative to join our Chesterfield based client. The focus of this role is to complete all General Operative tasks to a high standard, by constantly challenging the status quo and be at the forefront of evolution, continuous improvement, quality and health, safety & welfare.
Duties:
Ensure area is prepared for start up to include correct labels and packaging.
Ensure quality guidelines are followed for all areas.
Work within the ethos and standards of the company.
Work in all areas of the factory.
Keep good housekeeping standards in all areas.
Keep up to date knowledge of all products.
Ensure waste is discarded in appropriate manner.
Follow work instructions in all areas.
Ensure you comply with Health & Safety regulations.
Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management.
Requirements:
Customer focused attitude.
Team player who will work with others to achieve company goals.
Good eye for detail.
A willingness to learn and develop as the department expands and the ability to work on their own initiative is essential.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00/ 14:00 - 22:00 rotating weekly.
Salary: £13.76 per hour including shift allowance + overtime.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
