How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Installation Assessor (Full Training Provided)

    Newbury

    £35,000 + Full Training + Off the Tools + Monday to Friday + Hybrid Working Model + 28% Pension + 46 Days Holiday

    Are you a qualified Electrician with strong experience in Electrical Installation?

    This established and forward-thinking education provider is known for delivering exceptional standards of training and assessment. With continued government investment driving growth across engineering and construction, the organisation is expanding its Electrical provision and is now looking for passionate industry professionals to join their team. They offer excellent development opportunities and clear progression routes within the organisation.

    In this role, you will work closely with apprentices completing their Electrical Installation qualifications. You will carry out workplace visits, assess practical competencies, and support learners in building their portfolios and completing their qualifications. You will play a key role in guiding apprentices through their learning journey, ensuring they meet industry standards. Full assessor training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

    The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Electrician with strong installation experience. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and ideally hold or be willing to work towards your 2391 qualification. Previous assessing experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

    The Person:

    Qualified Electrician with strong Electrical Installation experience
