What You’ll Be Doing

* Carrying out preventative, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance on high‑level pallet‑handling cranes and automated handling equipment

* Supporting day‑to‑day site operations alongside the client’s maintenance team

* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults including bearings, chains, belts, rollers, motors, gearboxes, and drive systems

* Assisting with breakdowns and restoring equipment availability safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

* City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or mechanically biased apprenticeship)

* Strong hands‑on mechanical experience within automation, MHE, warehousing, or industrial environments

* Proven experience with planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns

* Confident working on large‑scale mechanical equipment and automated systems

* Familiar with CMMS or maintenance reporting systems

(Electrical knowledge would be beneficial but this role is primarily mechanically focused.)
