Jorum is an independent fragrance house based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded in 2019, the brand is led by our in-house perfumer, Euan McCall, and is celebrated for our unique and innovative fragrances and candles using only the highest quality materials. Our scents are gender neutral, highly wearable and crafted sustainably. We currently sell our products globally online and via 120+ select retailers as well as in our own London and Edinburgh boutiques. This year we are focused on growing our international wholesale business.
Role Description
We are seeking an International Sales Coordinator (Maternity Leave Cover) to join our team, responsible for supporting our global wholesale strategy and execution, and managing our retail partnerships with a focus on international sales. The maternity leave cover will run from early May through to October 2026.
Location: Edinburgh (Leith)
This is a cross-functional commercial role responsible for sourcing and securing new retail partnerships, managing existing retail relationships, trade marketing, supporting trade events and ensuring our wholesale business delivers as a high-performing sales channel.
Key Role Responsibilities
Wholesale Account Sourcing and Outreach
- Source and contact prospect buyers for Jorum products, coordinate sending samples and following up with prospects.
- Manage the new account opening and onboarding process.
- You will be set numerical monthly goals to track your progress against the business plan.
Wholesale Account Management
- Align with Jorum’s wider marketing plan for launches, promotions and retail priorities and roll out to trade contacts via marketing channels.
- Work closely with the wider Jorum team to ensure NPD launches are communicated to trade channels in a timely manner and translated into attractive retail initiatives.
Reporting
- Prepare monthly reporting figures to present to Management.
- Monitor best-performing and poor performing accounts, identifying risks and opportunities for the business.
- Use a data driven approach to suggest key areas of improvement and opportunity for the business.
Experience and Profile
- An interest in premium consumer goods is essential (preferably Beauty and Wellness).
- Prior sales experience.
- Comfortable communicating with others using a variety of methods.
- Commercially driven, organised and execution-focused.
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
