How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Role: Sales Administrator
    Location: Milton Keynes
    Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)
    Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 (DOE) + annual pay rises & bonus

    Please note: this is a fully office-based position.

    An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Administrator to join our client’s successful team.

    Our client is a well-established and highly reputable business based in Milton Keynes, operating from modern, well-presented offices. This is a fully office-based role, working within a busy and professional team.

    Duties of a Sales Administrator:

    Supporting the team in progressing matters from reservation through to legal completion
    Liaising with solicitors and preparing legal documentation
    Managing exchanges and agreeing completion dates
    Providing general administrative support including letters, reports, spreadsheets, diary management and filing
    Recording reservations, cancellations, exchanges and completions on internal systems
    Maintaining accurate property and development details across internal systems and external portals
    Producing weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports for management
    Coordinating information flow between departments
    Handling customer enquiries via email and telephone, ensuring all details are logged accurately
    Supporting with marketing materials and mailshots when required
    Registering plots with relevant bodies and updating systems accordingly
    What we would like from you:

    Experience within a busy, fast-paced administrative role
    Strong communication and listening skills
    Excellent attention to detail
    Highly organised and methodical, with the ability to work to a high standard
    Confident dealing with customers and external stakeholders
    Able to work independently as well as part of a wider team
    Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
