JOB SUMMARY
As Social Worker, you will play a key role in supporting students who may be experiencing social, emotional, or personal challenges that affect their learning

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:  

Provide professional social work support to students, including assessment, intervention, and ongoing case management
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support services, families, and external agencies
Contribute to safeguarding, child protection, and multi-agency meetings
Maintain accurate records and reports in line with statutory and organisational requirements
Promote inclusion, equality, and student wellbeing across the college community
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
Experience working with young people and/or vulnerable adults
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practice
Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
