This position will see you work on a major construction programme that is in the civil engineering phases including enabling, utilities (power, water & telecoms) works.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing post-contract applications and valuations for civils projects
Ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and project specifications
Overseeing financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control
Collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
Conducting regular site visits, with an on-site presence required three days a week
Managing variations, claims, and contract administration
Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing
Providing risk management and mitigation strategies for utilities projects
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in Quantity Surveying within a main contractor civil engineering environment. Utilities (water, power or telecoms) experience would be an added advantage but not essential
Strong understanding of NEC contracts
Proven experience in contract administration
Excellent financial management and cost control skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in relevant surveying software
Contract Details:
12-month contract position
Outside IR35
On-site requirement of three days per week
