We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Checking Manager for works based in Market Harborough, overseeing inspection and quality assurance of concrete and precast concrete units. This is an immediate start with further opportunities available based on performance.
Role Responsibilities:
* Inspecting precast concrete units to ensure compliance with specifications
* Carrying out quality checks on finished concrete products
* Identifying defects, dimensional issues, and finish requirements
* Completing and managing quality documentation for each unit
* Maintaining accurate inspection records and QA paperwork
* Working closely with the construction and production management team
* Ensuring units meet client and project specifications prior to release
* Monitoring consistency of production and reporting any issues
* Supporting continuous improvement of quality procedures
Requirements:
* Experience in concrete or precast concrete quality checking
* Background in QA / QC inspection of concrete units
* Good understanding of concrete specifications and tolerances
* Strong paperwork and record keeping skills
* Ability to work with site and construction management teams
* Attention to detail and quality-focused approach
