A leading interiors and commercial fit‑out specialist is seeking an experienced Fit Out Estimator to join their growing pre‑construction team. This is a full‑time, permanent role based in London, offering a salary of up to £75,000, depending on experience.
About the Role
You will play a key part in pricing and securing high‑quality commercial fit‑out projects across the capital. The position involves working closely with project managers, designers, and supply chain partners to produce accurate, competitive tenders and cost plans.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions for CAT A and CAT B fit‑out projects.
Analyse drawings, specifications, and project information to identify risks, opportunities, and value‑engineering options.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and assess market rates.
Support bid strategy, pre‑construction planning, and handover to delivery teams.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of fit‑out trades, materials, and construction methodologies.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an estimator within the commercial fit‑out or interiors sector.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor packages, and cost breakdowns.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
