How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Maintenance Engineer 

    Holywell 

    £43,000 + Regular Overtime (1.5x) + Up to 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Contributory Pension (Matched up to 6%) + EAP + Occupational Sick Pay + Service Awards

    Monday to Friday 3 Shift Pattern – 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 

    Maintenance Engineers required for an industry leading manufacturer with a 65-year company history who are currently experiencing significant year on year sales growth. This is a great opportunity to play an integral role within a business who witnessing over 30% growth each year and have ambitious development and investment plans

    The successful candidate will be an experienced maintenance engineer or technician with experience working in a manufacturing / production environment and will hold a relevant engineering qualification. Candidates can be mechanically or electrically biased.

    Joining an expanding team of currently five engineers, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair of production equipment including automated systems, presses and tooling. 

    Maintenance Engineer Role: 

    · Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair on production equipment

    · Working with automated systems including PLCs

    · Drive and implement improvements

    · Support the design and built of special purpose equipment and new manufacturing methods

    · 3 Shift pattern

    · Occasional call out 

    Maintenance Engineer Candidate:

    · Experienced maintenance engineer or technician – mechanically or electrically biased

    · Experience in automated manufacturing / production

    · Hold a relevant engineering qualification – level 3 or equivalent
