How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role: KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant
    Location: LN6, Lincoln

    Start Date: Easter (ASAP)

    Contract: Full-time, Temporary (April to July)

    Salary: £93 - £105 per day (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)

    About the role

    We at Heart of Supply are pleased to be advertising this KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant role at a large primary academy in Lincoln. This is a full-time, temporary position running until July 2026 and offers a great opportunity to make a real difference. As a KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a small group of children, supporting those with non-verbal autism, global delay and a range of learning difficulties. The role focuses on helping children feel supported, confident and engaged within the classroom. You will play a key part in the school day, building positive relationships and supporting learning in a practical and meaningful way.     What you will need:

    * Experience supporting children in a school, nursery, or education-based setting

    * Clear, professional communication and a proactive, reliable attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with school staff

    * A minimum of 6 weeks’ experience working with children in a similar setting in the UK

    * A kind, confident, and calm approach, with a genuine passion for helping pupils succeed

    * The ability to follow a teacher’s lead while using your initiative to support individuals and small groups

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    * Experience supporting children with additional needs is essential

    * A flexible and proactive attitude, ready to step into different classrooms and year groups
