We are currently seeking a Contracts Engineer to join a well-established geotechnical contractor based in Derby, delivering projects across the Midlands region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 3β5 yearsβ experience and a strong background in piling and geotechnical works to take the next step in their career with a highly reputable and growing business.

The Role
As a Contracts Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and delivering projects across the Midlands, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities will include:
* Managing geotechnical and piling contracts from award through to completion
* Coordinating site activities and liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
* Monitoring project progress, costs, and quality
* Supporting planning, reporting, and technical delivery of works
Requirements
* 3β5 yearsβ experience in a similar role
* Strong experience in piling and/or geotechnical engineering
* Good understanding of contract management and site operations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence (projects based across the Midlands)
