The college is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time or part-time, long-term basis starting in September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be providing 1:1 support to students, helping them access learning, stay engaged, and achieve their individual goals within a classroom environment.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar support role
• Experience providing 1:1 support to young people or adults
• A relevant qualification in education or support work is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, resilience, and a supportive approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get involved
