The schools are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) on a day-to-day basis to provide cover across a range of year groups for PPA time and staff absences. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons, support classroom learning and ensure a positive and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will have:
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Previous experience covering lessons in UK primary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexibility to work across different year groups
• A proactive and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
