Site Agent

We're working with a leading contractor delivering infrastructure and highway works, and they're looking for a Site Agent to join them on a freelance basis with an immediate start. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of on-site operations and play a key role in delivering a high-profile project safely and efficiently.

Job Role

As Site Agent, you'll support the Project Manager while acting as the on-site lead for civil engineering activities. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

·Overseeing site operations and coordinating subcontractors and a Sub Agent
·Ensuring SHEQ standards and safe systems of work are maintained at all times
·Developing construction programmes, method statements, and phasing plans
·Managing plant, labour, and material procurement efficiently
·Supporting cost control, including monthly reporting and compensation events
·Acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders, keeping all parties informed
·Maintaining accurate site records, including diaries and as-built information

Requirements

Essential:

·Civil Engineering (or related) qualification
·CSCS card
·SMSTS
·UK/EEC driving licence

Desirable:

·Experience delivering highway maintenance or infrastructure projects
·Strong understanding of health & safety in construction environments
