Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support production efficiency, process development, maintenance, and continuous improvement across a fast-paced engineering environment. You will play a key role in improving manufacturing systems, introducing lean initiatives, supporting new product introduction, and ensuring plant equipment remains safe and fully operational.
The Manufacturing Engineer will work across process optimisation, tooling and fixture design, factory layout improvements, health & safety compliance, TPM schedules, and capital equipment projects. You will also support breakdown response, supplier collaboration, prototype development, and documentation including SOPs, PFMEA, control plans, and ERP routing updates.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied position combining manufacturing improvement with maintenance and facilities engineering responsibilities. You’ll work closely with internal teams and international stakeholders to deliver improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety, and overall operational performance.
Skills & Experience:
* HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Production, or related Engineering discipline
* Minimum 2 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
* Strong lean manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge
* CAD experience, ideally SolidWorks
* Experience with process documentation, SOPs, PFMEA, and control plans
* Knowledge of maintenance systems, TPM, and equipment reliability
