We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Head of Curriculum & Quality (SEND) to lead and manage a high-performing team of teachers and support staff within a well-established SEND provision.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing a range of curriculum programmes, ensuring delivery aligns with KPIs, strategic priorities, and the wider organisational mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, growth, and sustainability of a high-quality SEND curriculum
• Drive continuous improvement across allocated curriculum areas
• Manage and support Tutors, Assessors, and IQAs (including sessional staff) to deliver outstanding learning experiences
• Ensure robust quality assurance processes are in place and consistently met
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with employers, community organisations, and key stakeholders
About You:
• Proven experience in a leadership role within SEND or Further Education
• Strong track record of driving quality and curriculum improvement
• Experience managing diverse education teams
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
• Passionate about delivering high-quality learning outcomes for SEND learners
