Piping Design Engineer

Hi,

I'm currently working on an exciting contract opportunity for a Piping Designer to support their engineering team.

This is a strong opportunity to work on real-world industrial systems, focusing on piping layouts and flow control equipment across high-spec projects.

Role: Piping Designer (Plant 3D / Inventor)
Location: Remote
Rate: £55 per hour
Contract: 3-6 months
Key Responsibilities:

Produce 3D piping layouts using Plant 3D or Inventor
Generate GA drawings, isometrics, and fabrication drawings
Design pipe routing, supports, and equipment layouts
Work closely with mechanical and project engineers
Interpret P&IDs and ensure designs meet industry standardsKey Requirements:

Strong experience in piping / plant design
Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D or Autodesk Inventor
Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings
Ability to work within industrial environments (oil & gas, water, or similar preferred)
