How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Store Manager Responsibilities

    As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of the new store opening and ongoing performance, ensuring a successful launch and sustainable growth.

    You will:

    Lead the launch and ongoing trading of a new store opening in Birmingham city centre
    Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing retail team
    Drive store sales performance, KPIs, and commercial targets
    Deliver exceptional customer experience and build strong customer loyalty
    Analyse sales performance and take action to improve results
    Increase footfall, conversion, and average transaction value
    Manage all store operations including stock, compliance, and back of house
    Ensure delivery of brand standards and operational excellence
    Work closely with marketing teams to support launch and ongoing trade activity
    Build a strong commercial and customer-focused store culture

    What We Are Looking For

    We are looking for a proven Store Manager / Retail Manager who can demonstrate:

    Experience as a Store Manager in fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail
    Strong track record of delivering sales targets and KPI performance
    Experience leading and developing retail teams in a fast-paced environment
    Ideally experience with new store openings or building teams from scratch
    Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive business performance
