How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager

    Renewable Energy / Biomass

    Tiverton (Office & Site-Based - Nationwide Projects)

    £42,000 - £48,000 + Pension + Holiday + Additional Birthday Leave + Company Pool Vehicle + Travel expensed + Training + Progression + Development in Renewables

    Are you a technically strong Project Manager with an engineering background looking for a role where you can lead renewable energy projects from start to finish?

    On offer is a high-impact position within a growing biomass company, where you'll take ownership of projects and play a key role in delivering nationwide renewable installations.

    This company are a leading provider of biomass boiler systems with over 15 years of experience, delivering design, supply, and installation of renewable energy solutions across the UK. With a strong project pipeline and continued expansion, they are strengthening their project management team following internal changes.

    In this role, you will manage projects from initial order through to completion, coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers while ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You'll play a key role in client relationships, technical decision-making, and overall project success.

    The Role
    * Manage renewable energy projects from order through to completion
    * Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers across multiple sites
    * Carry out site visits, surveys, and technical assessments
    * Monitor project timelines, costs, and overall delivery performance
    * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards

    The Person
    * Proven project management experience within engineering environments
    * Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background
    * Good understanding of health & safety legislation
    * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
