What You Will Do:

• Manage customer enquiries and orders via phone and email, ensuring accurate and timely input into the system.
• Book and track shipments, providing cost-effective and efficient solutions for EU and UK transport.
• Liaise with suppliers to source transport options and handle critical situations such as line stoppages.
• Review routes and suppliers to maximise profitability while maintaining high-quality service.
• Ensure jobs are completed on the system, all required documentation is obtained, and clear communication with the warehouse is maintained.
• Monitor and manage KPIs to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in the transport and freight forwarding industry, with European planning expertise.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain focused under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, email, spreadsheets and databases.
• A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a commitment to delivering top-quality service.

Working Hours:

This role is fully based on site in Redditch. 40 hours per week with choice of three shift patterns Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 16:30 / 08:30 – 17:00 / 09:00 – 18:00.
