How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Chef de Partie - £13.50/hour + Tips (OTE c. £34,000 pa)  
    Full-Time | 35-45 Hours per week | Straight Shifts | City Centre
     
    Flexible Workforce Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a vibrant and well‑regarded city centre restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and reliable chef who thrives in a high‑quality, flavour‑driven kitchen.
     
    What's on Offer
    £13.50/hour + approx. £6,000 per year in tips
    OTE around £34,000 per annum
    35 - 45 hours per week
    Straight shifts
    A mixture of shifts including many evenings off
    Latest finish typically 21:30
    City centre location with excellent transport links About the Role We're looking for a Junior Sous Chef who is:

    Professional, presentable, and confident - this role involves significant front‑of‑house visibility.
    Well‑mannered and collaborative, able to slot into a close‑knit and supportive team.
    Passionate about producing fresh, vibrant, relaxed yet elegant dishes.
    Focused on flavour, consistency, and quality. Key Responsibilities
    Deliver high‑quality dishes with a strong emphasis on fresh ingredients and bold flavours.
    Support menu development and contribute creative ideas.
    Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety.
    Train, mentor, and motivate junior team members.
    Work collaboratively with both back‑ and front‑of‑house teams. Who This Role Suits
