HSE Manager Pay, Hours and Benefits
* £50,000 - £55,000
* 39 hours per week; Monday – Thursday 7:30am to 4:15pm, 12:30pm finish on Friday’s
* 32 days holiday’s including bank holidays
* Production Bonus Scheme

HSE Manager Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in an HSE Manager role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation (Including PUWER and risk management).
* Experience with audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
* NEBOSH Diploma (would be ideal, other levels will be considered).
* A professional approach which generates credibility and confidence in others.
* Confident and assertive with a self-motivated approach and flexible attitude.
* A pragmatic, solution driven approach with a visible leadership style.
HSE Manager Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
* Site-wide HSE leadership – Lead Health, Safety & Environmental performance across a complex manufacturing operation (foundry, machining, fabrication, assembly and office environments), driving continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.
* Full UK compliance & governance – Ensure adherence to UK legislation and ISO standards (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001), maintaining audit readiness and managing statutory inspections including PUWER, LOLER, PSSR and power press regulations.
* Risk management & operational control – Own risk assessments, safe systems of work, and Management of Change (MOC), ensuring hazards are identified, controlled, and continuously improved across all operations.
* Hands-on leadership & cross-functional working – Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Facilities and Training teams to embed HSE best practice, deliver effective training, manage contractors, and lead incident investigations with root cause focus.
* Environmental, emergency & wellbeing focus – Drive environmental compliance and sustainability improvements, support emergency preparedness and occupational health programmes, and promote a visible, proactive, “safety-first” leadership approach across the site and subsidiaries.
