Location: Bury St Edmunds
Contract Type: Temporary
Rate of Pay: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour unpaid break)

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, assembling products to meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Working closely with a collaborative team, you will support continuous improvement and help maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble products to defined production quality standards, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assembly instructions
Ensure all work meets agreed quality, safety, and efficiency expectations
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary, following internal procedures
Carry out operator preventative maintenance (OPM) and complete routine servicing tasks as requiredWe are seeking candidates with previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment, ideally with a background in electrical or electronic assembly. An understanding of Lean manufacturing principles would be beneficial, along with familiarity in working to SOPs and within quality-controlled processes.
