How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fosber Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Fosber machine is a critical component of our production process, responsible for efficiently and accurately producing a variety of packaging materials. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Fosber machines or similar equipment and a strong mechanical aptitude.
    Responsibilities:
    * Operate Fosber machines in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
    * Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency and product quality.
    * Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent downtime and prolong machine lifespan.
    * Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions as needed.
    * Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
    * Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality inspections.
    * Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and quality assurance.
    Qualifications:
    * High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
    * Proven experience operating Fosber machines or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment.
    * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operating manuals.
