Pay: £20.12 p/h + overtime and enhancements. Up to £4,000 extra per annum.

Job Overview for the Coachbuilder
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Coachbuilder to join a busy and well-established bus and coach engineering team in Norwich.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual with strong bus, coach, or automotive body repair experience to work on a modern fleet, carrying out high-quality structural and body repairs following accident damage and wear and tear.
You will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles are returned to a safe, professional, and roadworthy condition.
Key Responsibilities of the Coachbuilder
Repair and restore buses following accident damage or wear, ensuring full safety and quality compliance
Carry out structural repairs, bodywork, and panel replacement
Inspect vehicles for faults, defects, and deterioration
Complete maintenance and repair work to company and manufacturer standards
Work closely with engineering and workshop teams to ensure efficient turnaround times
Safely use tools, machinery, and equipment in line with procedures
Ensure all work complies with health & safety and industry regulations
Key Requirements of the Coachbuilder
Proven experience as a Coachbuilder / Body Repair Technician (bus, coach, HGV, or automotive background considered)
Strong ability to repair and rebuild vehicle bodies to a high standard
Good understanding of materials, fabrication, and repair techniques
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
