How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Position: Physiotherapist - 6 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT (MATERNITY COVER)

    Care home: Adswood Lodge / Acer Mews
    Location: Stockport, SK3 8HZ / Ashton-under-Lynne, OL6 9JF
    Contract type: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday / 4 x days at Adswood Lodge, 1 x day at Acer Mews
    Rate: £41,030 per annum

    About the role

    Our Physiotherapists provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions to support people to maintain optimal muscle function, limit/delay deterioration and regain movement and mobility where possible.

    You’ll work as part of a wider Clinical Team to create person-centred care and rehabilitation plans that maintain and build people’s abilities, support them to achieve their physiotherapy goals and evaluate their outcomes.

    No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    * being responsible for a clinical caseload

    * working alongside the people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centred physiotherapy interventions

    * collaborating closely with the Therapy Team (Occupational Therapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators)

    * carrying out assessments

    * maintaining accurate records for people receiving physiotherapy

    * promoting choice, dignity and independence.
