Aluminium Fabricator

Major Recruitment Huddersfield is currently recruiting for an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join a well-established fabrication business known for producing high-quality products for a wide range of clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong fabrication and welding experience who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive and skilled team.

Main Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble aluminium and steel components to a high standard.
Carry out MIG welding (TIG welding is desirable but not essential).
Work accurately from technical drawings and specifications.
Inspect finished work to ensure precision, quality, and durability.
Follow company production processes and report progress as required.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently.Candidate Requirements

Proven background in aluminium fabrication (experience with steel is advantageous).
Skilled in MIG welding; TIG experience beneficial.
Ability to interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Reliable, flexible, and willing to work overtime when required.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Positive attitude with a hands-on approach and willingness to learn.

Pay Rate: £14 - £15 per hour (DOE)
Working Hours: Rotating pattern - 7:00am-3:30pm one week, followed by 11:00am-7:30pm the next. Fridays are 7:00am-3:30pm
