Smile Education are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a knowledgeable and committed Health & Social Care Teacher for an immediate start.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support students pursuing pathways in health, social care and child development, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for further education and future careers.
The Role:
Deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons across KS4 and KS5 (where applicable)
Support elements of Child Development, including theory and coursework
Prepare students for coursework and examinations, ensuring strong outcomes
Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
Maintain a positive and structured learning environment in line with school policiesThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold QTS (or equivalent) or have relevant teaching experience
Have experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary level
Have knowledge or experience of Child Development (desirable)
Be confident supporting coursework and exam preparation
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
