Teaching Assistant (TA) – Primary School – Hackney – Immediate Start

We are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) / SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive Primary School in Hackney for an immediate start.

This role is ideal for a committed Teaching Assistant with experience in ASD, SEN support, 1:1 intervention, and classroom-based learning support. The successful Teaching Assistant will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, close gaps, and make strong academic progress.

Teaching Assistant – Key Details

* Teaching Assistant required in a Hackney Primary School

* SEN Teaching Assistant / TA supporting ASD and additional needs

* Teaching Assistant delivering 1:1 and small group interventions

* Immediate start available

* Minimum 1 year UK school experience required

* Experience as SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, or Teaching Assistant essential

Teaching Assistant – Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Deliver structured 1:1 intervention sessions and small group support

* Support pupils with ASD, SEN needs, and behavioural challenges

* Assist learning across English, Maths, and foundation subjects

* Reinforce classroom routines and positive learning behaviours

* Support communication development through structured talk-based learning

* Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement targeted strategies

* As a Teaching Assistant, you will help ensure all pupils can access learning and achieve their full potential academically and socially.
