How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Production Coordinator / Controller / Administrator

Salary: basic salary of up to £38,000 (potentially negotiable for the right person)

Benefits include: A monthly paid guarenteed bonus structure (company wide) which has historically paid out around £2,000 - £3,000 per year (paid monthly), 5% contribuatory pension, 25 days holiday (+8 bank holidays), life assurance and enhanced sick pay, full induction training program and career progression, overtime at time and a half, and more!

    Location: Aston Clinton / Aylesbury

    Production Coordinator

This is a great opportunity for an experienced production controller / administrator to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury.

The production controller / administrator will be responsible for managing the administration in a variety of key business areas. You will be dealing with the companies works orders (raising documentation, allocating, and closing), dealing with purchase orders, working with suppliers and booking in stock, as well as raising sales orders and some basic invoicing. You will also be involved in the administration and paperwork for repairs and planning production timeframes and builds. Although this sounds very fell on, a large amount of this is simple and semi-automated but it does require someone with a strong eye for detail.

The production controller will be someone with some experience in a multi-functional administration role, ideally from a background in manufacturing or production. You will need to be good with IT systems, and able to pick up new ones quickly. Great communication skills are key, as well as being generally reliable. They currently use SAGE for most of their systems, however this might be changing within the next year or two.

    Production Controller Requirements

    * Experience within a production / manufacturing / engineering environment is beneficial

    * A STEM degree would also be beneficial

    * Experience dealing with works orders, production planning, purchase orders, invoicing and dispatch

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    * Able to keep clear, accurate and traceable records

    * Driven and reliable
