Location: Welham Green, Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Salary: £41,000 - £50,000 per annum, DOE + Excellent Benefits!
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are a respected, family-run commercial vehicle repair centre and we are now seeking an experienced HGV MET Technician / Panel Beater to join our busy and professional workshop team.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills and a background in commercial vehicle or bodyshop repair.
The Role
You will play a vital part in the repair and rebuild process, carrying out vehicle stripping, refitting, and supporting panel repairs to a high standard of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Strip and refit HGV / LGV vehicles and components
* Support panel repair and replacement work
* Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment confidently
* Identify, label, and organise parts for repair or replacement
* Assist in ensuring efficient repair turnaround times
* Maintain the highest levels of workmanship and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an MET Stripper / Fitter, Panel Beater, or similar role
* Strong mechanical understanding of commercial vehicles
* Experience in a workshop or body shop environment
* Competent with tools and diagnostic equipment
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
