How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Support Worker, North London, HA7. Full and part-time contracts are available for an experienced complex care support worker to join a directly employed care team, providing 2:1 support to a truly wonderful young lady with complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day. £19.80 to £20.80 gross per hour.

    Essential: Experience supporting children or young adults with complex care and medical needs, including PEG-J management ,airway suctioning, and confidence in all aspects of manual handling. Non-smoker / vaper. This role is open to * Female applicants only.

    About the Client Winnie, 18, is a fabulous girly girl with a brilliant sense of humour and a love for life—she’s a true social butterfly who brings joy wherever she goes! She enjoys being pampered, having her hair and nails done, and expressing her vibrant personality. Winnie has a wide range of interests, from music and movies to arts and crafts, and she’s always keen to explore new activities. Winnie has Cerebral Palsy (GMFCS Level 5), scoliosis and Dystonia. She requires oral suctioning, nebulisers, and has a Gastrojejunostomy in situ for all nutrition, fluids and medication. She is a wheelchair user and communicates using switches. Due to her care needs, Winnie has 2:1 support, 24/7. Winnie lives in Stanmore with her mum in a fully adapted, welcoming home (complete with a therapy room) and attends college. Snap Care, working in collaboration with Winnie’s case management team, are excited to be recruiting Complex Care Support Workers to join her growing care team.
    The Role at a Glance As a *female Complex Care Support Worker, you will work alongside another team member to support Winnie in all aspects of her daily life—from personal care and medical needs to helping her pursue her interests and independence; she attends college, Monday to Thursday. You’ll play a key role in ensuring Winnie continues to thrive, learn, and enjoy life to the fullest. Full training will be provided in all aspects of Winnie’s care; however, prior experience in complex medical care is essential. You’ll work closely with Winnie’s family, therapy team, and other healthcare professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment. There are also opportunities for overtime if desired (including days and waking nights).
