Location: Sandbach
Working schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 15:30pm and Fridays 6:30am - 12:00pm (Overtime available)
Rate of pay: £13.50ph during training period, increasing to £15.10ph afterwards
Contract type: Temporary to permanent position for successful candidates
Adecco are recruiting for a Panel Wirer to join our clients team who are a leader in their field of vehicle assembly.
If you are experienced with electrical assembly, building panel boards and wiring this may be the role for you.
Main responsibilities:
Assemble electrical control panels, mounting components such as circuit breakers, switches, relays, and PLCs.
Complete accurate point-to-point wiring, which may include cable crimping, soldering, and routing of electrical looms and harnesses.
Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings.
Carry out electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, and full functional testing, to ensure all assemblies meet specification and quality standards.
Install and connect terminal blocks, cable trunking, cable management systems, and wiring looms.
Diagnose and rectify wiring faults and carry out panel modifications in line with updated drawings or specifications.
Adhere to health & safety procedures and ensure all work complies with relevant electrical regulations and company standards.The ideal candidate:
Proven experience in electrical panel wiring or control panel assembly
Confident reading and working from electrical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of electrical safety and compliance standards
Essentials for the role: For this role, you will be required to have your own impact drill and driver, along with a basic tool kit. Safety shoes are also required.
