What You Will Be Doing
As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:
Servicing and repairing HGVs, LGVs and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults across HGVs, trailers and LGVs as an experienced HGV Mechanic
Completing inspections, maintenance and documentation accurately
Supporting workshop productivity and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
Staying up to date with technical training, product updates and new vehicle technology as a Commercial Vehicle Technician
Pay and Benefits
£20.00–£23.00 per hour depending on experience

What You Will Need
To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need:
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter or HGV Fitter within a commercial vehicle environment
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
Full UK driving licence
HGV Class 1 licence (desirable)
Experience in a main dealer or fleet maintenance environment (desirable)
