About the Role
We are recruiting experienced Crane Drivers to work on major shaft sinking and tunnelling projects across the North West UK. This is a long-term opportunity offering stable work for up to five years on a high-profile infrastructure scheme.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate cranes safely and efficiently in shaft sinking and tunnelling environments
* Carry out lifting operations in line with approved lift plans and method statements
* Communicate effectively with Slinger/Signallers using radio and hand signals
* Perform daily checks and basic maintenance on crane equipment
* Ensure all lifting activities are conducted in accordance with site safety procedures
* Work in challenging environments, including confined and underground conditions where required
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance

Essential Requirements
* Valid Crane Operator certification (CPCS / NPORS or equivalent)
* Proven experience working on shaft sinking and tunnelling projects
* Confined Spaces certification (Medium/High Risk) - essential
* Valid medical certificate (safety-critical) - essential
* Strong understanding of lifting operations and crane safety
* Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team

Desirable
* Experience operating cranes in confined or restricted environments
* CSCS card
* First Aid certification
* Experience on major civil engineering or underground infrastructure projects
