How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    🌟 The Opportunity

    As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner to a portfolio of established clients, developing long-term relationships while identifying opportunities to expand services and maximise value.

    You’ll also support the onboarding and growth of new accounts, ensuring every client receives a best-in-class experience.

    Working closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders, you’ll be at the heart of a collaborative and ambitious business.

    🔑 Key Responsibilities

    Own and nurture relationships with a portfolio of existing clients
    Build and develop long-term partnerships with new accounts
    Identify growth opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling services
    Manage client projects from meter installations to energy assessments ensuring timely delivery
    Collaborate with internal teams including Business Development, Operations, and senior leadership
    Engage with external stakeholders, providing market insights, guidance, and forecasting
    Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint

    👤 About You

    Proven experience in Account Management (ideally within the energy/utilities sector)
    Strong commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset
    Excellent communication skills confident, articulate, and persuasive
    A consultative approach with the ability to understand and solve client needs
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    Proactive and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced environment
    Good numeracy skills with experience using Excel and CRM/business systems
