We’re working with a well-established 3PL provider to recruit an Offshore Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of specialist routes across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, and other island locations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking full control of shipments and seeing the job through from start to finish. You’ll play a key role in keeping offshore freight moving efficiently, working closely with partners and internal teams to deliver a high level of service.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing shipments end-to-end, from initial booking through to successful delivery in real time.
* Coordinating trailer loads (Consolidated trailer groupage) across multiple partners to maximise efficiency
* Monitoring movements using internal systems and ensuring everything stays on track
* Handling any delays or issues proactively, finding solutions quickly
* Acting as a central point of contact for customers, partners, and colleagues
* Keeping a close eye on costs to ensure each job is commercially viable
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in transport, freight forwarding, or logistics (3PL experience is a bonus)
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs at once
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Confident communication skills when dealing with customers and partners
* Good attention to detail, particularly around costing and accuracy
