Plant & Commercial Vehicle Spray Painter / Refinisher – Immediate Start
We are recruiting for an experienced Plant & Commercial Vehicle Spray Painter / Refinisher to join a busy workshop based in Kendal.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled spray painter looking for consistent, long-term work on HGVs and heavy plant machinery, with the opportunity to go permanent.
Ongoing work with immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of surfaces including cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or imperfections
* Application of paints, lacquers, and finishes using spray equipment
* Working on HGVs and heavy plant machinery
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with specifications
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Spray Painter / Refinisher
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
* Experience using spray equipment and various paint systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable and professional attitude
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience with heavy plant or HGV refinishing
* Polishing, finishing, or detailing experience
* Signwriting or vinyl application experience
