Job description
Forever Teaching is recruiting a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Buddy to work in an alternative provision in Salford, supporting students who have been excluded from mainstream school.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting young people with behavioural needs, helping them re-engage with education in a structured and supportive environment.
The role
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural challenges
* Building positive relationships and acting as a consistent mentor
* Supporting students to regulate behaviour and engage in learning
* Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
* Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
What we’re looking for
* Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Ability to build trust and positive relationships
* Background in education, youth work, care, or similar is desirable
