Technique Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be working with a Norwich based specialist manufacturing company, who are looking for a Design Draughtsman to join the team.
You will work closely with contractors, architects and installation teams in a fast-paced environment, managing drawing packages from concept through to completion, must ideally have experience of working within glazing/façade design.
Key Responsibilities
Produce 2D AutoCAD drawings for bespoke window and curtain wall systems & glazing/façade systems.
Prepare drawings and documentation for client approval
Produce general arrangement and setting-out drawings for site use
Extract dimensions and quantities from existing drawings
Produce fabrication and cutting drawings for manufacture
Revise drawings following client or engineering feedback
Liaise with internal teams, clients and external consultants
Ensure deadlines, design consistency and compliance with British Standards
Skills & Experience
Strong AutoCAD and technical design skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Relevant CAD qualification or industry experience preferred with glazing/façade design.
CWCT accreditation advantageous
