Key Responsibilities - Primary SEND Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging KS1 / KS2 lessons
Differentiate learning to support EHCP targets and individual needs
Support pupils with SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
Create a structured, calm and positive classroom environment
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and wider support staff
Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and student wellbeingRequirements - SEN / SEMH Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Primary (KS1 or KS2)
Interest or experience in SEN, SEND, SEMH or alternative provision
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
