How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Develop end-to-end ML pipelines, from data ingestion through to production deployment and monitoring

    * Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex, real-world problems into scalable AI solutions

    * Contribute to the design of advanced architectures, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and multi-agent systems

    * Optimise system performance, reliability, and scalability in production environments

    * Play a key role in technical decision-making and overall AI strategy

    Key Skills & Experience

    * 4+ years’ experience in software engineering, machine learning, or AI-focused roles

    * Strong programming skills in Python, with experience building production-grade systems

    * Hands-on experience with large language models and modern ML frameworks

    * Experience deploying and maintaining systems in production (MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)

    * Strong understanding of system design, APIs, and scalable architectures

    * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

    Desirable Experience

    * Experience working with LLMs in production environments

    * Exposure to agent-based systems or advanced prompt engineering techniques

    * Experience building distributed systems or high-performance APIs

    * Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools

    * Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments

    What’s in It for You?

    * Work on cutting-edge AI systems solving complex, real-world problems

    * High level of ownership and autonomy within a fast-moving engineering team

    * Competitive salary of £90,000–£120,000, plus bonus and equity

    * Flexible hybrid working with a London-based office

    * Opportunity to shape the direction of AI products from an early stage
